Would it be bad to transfer colleges this much...?

When you knew you were going to graduate a year early, you didn't have time to apply for college?? Why not start out at your community college, take some of your gen ed courses and then apply to go to the school you really want to go to next year? Or, work for a year and save some money and then apply for Fall 2011 to the school you really want.
