Wedding banquet hall agreement?

My fianc� and I recently lost our jobs and can't pay for the wedding. The agreement says they need 30 days notice but we didn't make the deadline. So now we still have the agreement to pay them but no way to do it. It was with the Ritz of Las Vegas and now I'm worried they will take me to court or something. Anyone else come across this and has some good advice?
