Can you take this paragraph from my hw and rephrase it so i can understand it please?

Some say that it is useful for society to have a cl of people (e.g., nobility/royalty) who are *given* privileges instead of earning them; but in reality any such "usefulness" is superficial -- the privileged cl holds the titles and positions of power, but all the real work is done by the Third Estate. If the privileged cl did not exist, then the positions they hold would be filled by people who actually have relevant skills and experience. If all the positions of power are given to privileged persons, it is unfair to the individuals who otherwise would have earned those jobs, and it is bad for society as a whole.
