How do i stiffen my catchers mitt?

i have a pro series mizuno catchers mitt that i have used my 8th grade, freshman, sophmore and now junior year in high school baseball. i have taken care of the leather and there are no cracks but after so much use the joints are to loose for a catchers mitt. how do i re-stiffen it completly so i can then re-loosen the parts i need?
