Spoiling of your dog by others?

i had a roommate who would insist on feeding my dog fast food such as french fries ... he would toss fries at his dog and my dog (when i was not there !!!) and he would give his 65 pound dog the same amount as my 14 pound dog ... she gained weight, up to 22 pounds ... she looked like a sausage ... i fought with him about it and he just thought she looked cute and "roly poly" ... i moved ... and she lost the weight immediately because on the OFF chance i would toss her a french fry, i would toss her one only ...
