Rudy Gay appears to be re-signing with Grizzlies? Thoughts?

I think this was a smart move by the Grizzlies to offer him a realistic number, rather than waiting for other teams to make an offer for him. If the Grizzlies didn't make an offer right away, who know how much they would had to match to keep him? If the other team offer him at $100 million for 5 years, the Grizzlies would certainly had no chance to retain him. Still, it's kinda high for a player who primarily a scorer and nothing else, but the fact that he's turning 24 before next season means bigger things for Gay.
