How can i change?

i need some tips on how to influence this guy at my school (we are really good friends and have known ea. other since like kindergarden). he believes in evoulution and thinks that there is no possible way for "on 'all powerful' human could have created the world." We are really good friends but i still cant seem to convince him that the story of God and Jesus is true and i REALLY dont want for him to go to Hell. He jus doesnt believe anything i tell him. he says evoulution is in a science book, so it has to be tru but in the book it says its a theory and we said evoulution is in ONLY one book: a sci book. but the story of Jesus is in a History book && the Bible..but he said anyone could have made up a story and wrote it down. I realy need help with this kid because ever since i found out he believed evoulution i cant even look at him the same. I think about him a lot now and how i need to help him and this is mean but i seriously said that "i hope he gets in a car accident but
