I want to be part of the Alpha Kappa Alpha organization...do they haze?

I have a strong desire to be an AKA but I am also hugely opposed to hazing. I don't want to start the process and have to drop out because of hazing. I know it's illegal but I also know for fact that it still goes on. When I try to speak to some AKA's at my school I get no answers. They just say that it's agaisn't the law which I already know, but that doesn't stop many of the sororities from hazing. I just want someone to be real with me and just let me know what it is so I don't waste my time to start the process and have to drop out. Can anyone give me more information? I would be happy to discuss this through email as well.
